About City
Nysa is a city located on the south part of Poland, close to Sudet Mountains - one of the most beautiful Silesia cities.
For hundreds of years, it was the Bishops principality capital as well as one of the most important cultural centres in Europe.
Currently, it has unforgettable and unbelievable charm, appreciated by all tourists. All historical monuments are worth to see: Saint Jacob and Saint Agnes Churches, Saint Jacob treasury, baroque fontainne of Tryton next to Piazza Berberini in Roma, beautiful well with baroque trellis, renaissance House, Ziebicka's Gate saved with fortifications, Museum in Nysa which used to be the Cracovian Bishops residence and many others.
Apart from spelndid architecture and mysterious fortifications, unique Nysa climate is being created by the lake (22 km2) called Nyska Riviera.
Clean, ecological environment and extensive, sandy beaches with the mountains panorama are the leisure centre. The nature lovers, fishermen, bicycle and hiking lovers will all find somethig suitable here.
