NKJO in Opole has been established on 1st October 1990 and it is State Teacher’s Education Institution.
The University in Opole as well as University in Wrocław are its guardians and the leading organ is The Opole Region Government. Pedagogical supervision is held by Ministry of National Education.
Studies in our college last 3 years. The programme includes basic linguistics, cultural and literary information.We provide high level of education in linguistics field and prepare future teachers to work at school.
The College Graduates get the diploma which allows them to teach foreing language in all types of schools and kindergardens as well as the opportunity for applying for master studies and studying master degree at Universities mentioned above or at other higher education institutions.
Our students have also a chance to take the foreign language course: English, French, German, Italian, Spanish.

ACADEMIC STAFF OF NKJO IN OPOLE (academic and diploma teachers) conduct almost all forms of vocational education which take place in Opole Region, for instance in cooperation with Provincial Methodical Centre in Opole and City Centre of Teacher’s Education in Opole. Some Qualification Courses for German and English Language Teachers are also organised (within the framework of NIWKi Programme). NKJO in Opole takes an active part in MENiS and CODN Programmes which are: COFRAN, INSETT and DELFORT. NKJO workers improve their professional qualifications in cooperation with these organisations. Our college employs also highly qualified lecturers from USA, UK, France and Germany.
SCIENTIFIC AND DIDACTIC FACILITIES:

New, 3 floors building has got 9 lecture halls, 4 computer rooms, bar, audiovisual room with sofas as well as beautiful library with multimedia reading room.
Thanks to spacious corridors, ramps and an elevator, this bulding is also available for disabled students.
There is Students-Listeners Government which aim is to provide an opportunity to make responsible decisions in terms of education and studying as well as organizing and enriching the College’s cultural and entertainment life. We take active part in Regional Educational Trades in Opole and organize Doors wide opened which aim is to introduce our College to potential students as well as helping them with making conscious choice.

Student programs
Our college closely cooperates with: British Council, Goethe Institute, Cervantes Institute, Embassy in Ireland, Embassy in France and the Foundation of Education Development „Socrates”, The Centre for Teacher’s Education, The Institute for Teachers in Bielefeld (within the framework Socrates Lingua) and with Fejer Region in Hungary.
Thanks to Erasmus Programme, 400 students can take part in European Projects (language assistant) and conferences, workshops organized in each fields of education.
