State Vocational School of Prof. Tarnowski in Tarnobrzeg has been established on the 1st June 2001.
Our main aim became to promote creative approach among students. The human activities are the basics in order to implement changes as well as changing the passive mentality regarding the reality we live in. By this activity, our school shows how to use self employment so how to create new vacancies.
We believe that this will allow people to reject the traditional model of employee- employer.
College in Tarnobrzeg provided decent conditions for gaining higher education degree and facilitates more effective job searching process on very demanding current job market. Professors from prestigious Academic Centers teach at our school while young teachers improve their didactic skills, gaining higher and higher science degrees and attending science conferences.
We also organize our own conferences- magnificent researchers and scientists take part in them.
Next, the conference materials as well as the articles are published by the College Publishing House. Moreover, some researching related to Tarnobrzeg Region has been organized in frame of cultural, economical and social aspects. The implementation of the studies programme compatible with the education standards is completed with vocational practices, which aim is to let students know the specification of future work. The career’s Office helps students by advising the right career path.
Our College has got its own administration and didactic structure, including the new building on Wyszynski’s Street.
Classes are conducted in modern didactic rooms, equipped with high quality audiovisual systems. Library offers long list of books from pedagogy, economy, sociology, marketing, philosophy, psychology, management,maths and law fields. Thee are also Polish and foreign magazines. Students can borrow books by using special library system and ordering them through internet website.
Stationary and non- stationary students can apply for scholarships: science, sport, social and subsidies. Another advantage is the possibility to enjoy hobbies by being a member of one of the student circles, students government or students sport association. Thanks to this opportunity, students may attend interesting events. The important part of academic life is definitely art - we organize exhibitions.
