Collegium Civitas is a private school in Warsaw - it has been established in 1997.The School is under the patronage of five PAN Institutes: Institute of philosophy and sociology, Institute of History, Institute of of political studies, Institute of of Art, Institute of of Slavic languages.
Due to the fact that our school has only the best highly qualified teachers and professors such as: Tadeusz Gadacz, Andrzej Paczkowski, Andrzej Friszke, Henryk Domański, Włodzimierz Wesołowski, Bogdan Mach, we offer the highest level of education.
The classes are also conducted by people with impressive practical experience in diplomacy, state administration, international organizations, and media such as: ex ambasadors of Poland abroad: Maciej Koźmiński (in Hungary), Maria Krzysztof Byrski (in India), Krzysztof Dębnicki (in India and Pakistan, Mongolia), Grzegorz Dziemidowicz (in Egypt and Greece) i Ryszard Żółtaniecki (in Greece and Cyprus), The European Parlament deputy, Rafał Trzaskowski, Paweł Kowal, including former deputy of PE, Wojciech Roszkowski and Wiesław Johann as well as the journalists as: Jacek Żakowski, Grzegorz Miecugow, Michał Komar and others.
Our aim is not only passing the knowledge which will let students to understand the social world but also the practical skills which will provide them with the convenienvt position on the job market and will open the doors widely for career in various occupations. We want our students to feel comfortable in Europe and compete with other students who are educated at prestigious Universities abroad. Thanks to the agreement with 45 Universities from the European Union, Switzerland, The United States, Korea, Canada, Kazachstan, Ukraine, Taiwan, over 100 of our studentscan take the opportunity to take part in students exchange. Collegium Civitas offers both 1st and 2nd degree studies at courses listed below: Sociology, International Relations, Politology, Journalism, Asian Studies.
Collegium Civitas provied with modern and interdisciplinary studies program. Our students have the opportunity to grow individually, while being in touch with highly qualified professors. The structure lets student to use the offer of nearly 300 classess at all courses. The highest quality of education has been confirmed by the high notes in the rankings of newspapers such as: Wprost, „?dlaczego” , „Perspektywy”, „Rzeczpospolita”.

Collegium Civitas is opent to the development opportunities - therefore we provide an opportunity for gaining international experiences, learning about various cultures and others point of views. Our students can get the internships, attend conferences and trips. It is easy to meet foreign teachers and students at our College (from over 30 countries) as well as special guests: ambassadors, international institutions representatives, scientists and artists. International cooperation in our college is made within the framework of plenty of long standing programmes and bilateral agreements. Collegium signed the agreements with few dozens of Universities and Academic Institutions from different European and World Countries like: Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Spain, Holland, Ireland, Israel, Canada, Kazahstan, Korea, Lithuania in Germany, Norway, Russia, Sweden, USA in UK and Italy.
The biggest of the programs in terms of international cooperation is called Erasmus. It was created in order to provide with the opportunity to study and work abroad for students and academic teachers. Within the framework of this program, students can go abroad or the summer internship while the Collegium employees have the possibility to gain experience and increase their competency level. while working abroad.
Collegium Civitas in cooperation with West Virginia University (Morgantown, USA) and University of Tartu (Estonia) created prestigious studies called - TRANSATLANTIC MA PROGRAM IN EAST-CENTRAL EUROPEAN STUDIES. We are also a partner of : European University-Viadrina, Frankfurt (Oder) (Germany) Kingston University, London (UK,) Siena University, Siena (Italy) realizing unique program called: Human Rights and Genocide Studies.

Warsaw to is the heart of the Mazowieckie Voivodship. It is an important economic, cultural, tourist and service centre. The city has charmed quite a few tourist in its history. ‘Approximate’ means ‘close’. ‘Proximity’ means ‘neighbourhood’. The word ‘proximate’ is understood as ‘direct’, whereas ‘proximal’ as ‘closer’. If you add ‘Proxima Centauri’ and the students’ club ‘Proxima’ to the mix, you will get a clear picture of the leisure activities of the University’s students.
The ‘Hybrydy’ club has two air-conditioned rooms. In the club various music events, concerts and cabarets’ performances take place. Acid jazz, soul, funky, latino, big beat and jazz can be heard there. The Voliera bar – ‘chill out room’ is situated in the lower part of the club. It is open from 9 pm. Comfortable sofas and a small bar help the visitors relax and regenerate.
1st and 2nd degree studies (Bachelor and Master) recruitment process is held only on the basis of submitted documents (apart from journalism).
The condition for being accepted is submitting the documents as well as the recruitment process positive results. All candidates who are interested in studies at Collegium Civitas, are obliged to fill in the application form which is available online: rekrutacja.civitas.edu.pl.
Candidates for the 3rd year of bachelor and 2nd year of master both stationary and non stationary, won't be accepted.

RECRUITMENT PROCESS STEPS
ATTENTION! The recruitment process starts right after the candidate will fill in the online application form and submits necessary documents.
Candidates for stationary and non stationary studies (1st degree bachelor) are accepted on the basis of the results from the high school examination from 3 chosen subjects.
The contests winners from the fields of: philosophy, Poland and Modern world, Human rights, UE, History, Literature and Polish language, English language, Geography, Math, will be accepted for studies without examinations.
Regarding Journalism - there is obligatory interview.

Canddiates for studies in English have to submit the certificate which will confirm their English knowledge and skills: TOEFL, TOEIC, IELTS, CAE, CPE, CCPE, International Baccalaureate. Certificate has to confirm the language skills on certain level.
In case that candidate doesn't have any certificates or the international high school exam passed as well as the exam done somewhere in English speaking country (US, UK, New Zealand, Canada) the other confirmation has to be submitted. Candidates from English speaking countries are obliged to write an essay up to 600 words in English for one of the chosen topics from the university list. Polish citizens are obliged to attend the interview in English language.
